How to use this tool
Cards are selected with an unbiased cryptographic shuffle, without replacement. Reversals are optional. Cards stay fixed during revealing and saving; interpretations invite reflection rather than predict facts.
The ten positions
Begin with an open question about your own choices. Reveal the cards in order, read each image through its position, then look for a connection between the central situation and the final possibility. Our version uses these positions:
- Present: the situation as you experience it now.
- Challenge: a tension, obstacle, or useful counterpoint; this card is not automatically negative.
- Foundation: a background assumption or resource beneath the question.
- Recent past: an influence you may be carrying forward.
- Possible future: one direction worth considering, without assuming it will happen.
- Near future: a small next development or action to examine.
- Self: your stance, needs, or available agency.
- Environment: outside influences, without claiming to read another person’s mind.
- Hopes and fears: what you are drawn toward or wary of.
- Outcome: a symbolic possibility to reflect on, not a fixed forecast.
Write down one insight and one action you can actually choose. A difficult card can name a question; it cannot establish a diagnosis, a betrayal, or an inevitable event. Reversals are optional interpretive lenses you can toggle after revealing each card.
